Man cautioned over missing anvil

A man has been arrested after an anvil was stolen from South Oxhey last month.

Police said a 26-year-old man has been given a caution after the object went missing from Brookdene Avenue on Sunday, August 26.

The arrest followed a police appeal with CCTV images last month.

Oh that favourite "punishment" The Caution! what happened to the stolen goods? Will he have to pay any compensation? this report is not very complete

But in seriousness, it seems that theft and assault are becoming minor crimes and the offenders are given a caution. Things have got to change before its too late
