A CCTV appeal has been launched for a cyclist who stole food from a Rickmansworth petrol station.

The man rode up to the BP garage on Uxbridge Road at 5.50pm on Saturday September 1 and left his bike near the cash machine while he went into the shop and selected a number of items before going to the toilets and placing them in a bag. He then left without paying.

PC Chris Gottmann, the investigating officer, said: "I would like to speak with the man pictured as part of my inquiries.

"If this is you or you know who this man is then please contact me without delay on the Herts Police non-emergency number 101. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers, the independent charity, anonymously on 0800 555 111."
