By Rebecca Perring, Reporter
The best of British will be celebrated tomorrow at a Bedmond school’s annual scarecrow festival.
Big Ben and tea cups will be the main themes at the festival tomorrow (Wednesday) where parents, pupils and visitors are invited to judge the scarecrows made out of recyclable and natural materials.
Emma Woollon, headteacher at the school, said: "The children have been frantically making their scarecrows today and yesterday. The ones I have already seen look great.
"We decided on the best of British theme to tie in with our jubilee year and the Olympics and Paralympics, to keep the tradition going."
The festival will take place tomorrow from 3pm to 4pm at the school, where the class which has created the best scarecrow will get a chance to show it off in a parade.
