Free lung test in Bushey during 'Stoptober'

Hertsmere Leisure Centres are offering customers a chance to test their lung function for free during October.
The leisure trust is backing the NHS’s Stoptober campaign, a new national 28 day challenge aimed at helping people to stop smoking.
Hertsmere Leisure is training staff at Bushey Grove Leisure Centre to help support customers and members who want to quit and signposting them to information and help.
They are also distributing information and marketing materials throughout their sites to encourage customers to try and give up.
The centres are also offering customers a free peak flow test, which measures how fast you blow air out of your lungs, which is a good indication of the quality of lung function.
