Youth parliament seeks new members

Teenagers in Hertfordshire are being invited to have their say and stand for election in a step towards “changing the world for the better”.

The Hertfordshire UK Youth Parliament is looking for young people aged between 11 and 18 years to stand for election.

Young people are invited to become a member of youth parliament for a year, during which time they represent the voice of young people in the county.

The first stage is for candidates to prepare their manifesto and they can register at the event tomorrow, September 29, at Watford Youth Point Centre in Lower High Street
