Man found hanged in St Michael's Catholic School grounds named as Carl Hutchins

The body of a man found hanging in the grounds of St Michael’s Catholic School in Garston this morning has been identified as Carl Hutchins.

The former Francis Combe student, in his mid 20s, worked for a skip hire company in Hemel Hempstead.

At about 8.50am, police, paramedics, fire crews and forensic teams were called to the school in High Elms Lane, to reports of the concern for the welfare of a young man.

Officers confirmed the victim died at the scene and that his death is not being treated as suspicious.

His family have been notified of his death.
