Watford General Hospital holds coffee morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support
A slice of cake and a cup of coffee went down a treat at a coffee morning in Watford General Hospital to raise money towards the battle against cancer.
Coffee and cakes were served to patients and staff at the Macmillan Coffee Morning in the reception of the hospital on Friday (September 28).
The event raised £212 towards Macmillan Cancer Support, a cause which helps to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.
Fiona Mcnab, manager of the Macmillan information and support centre at Watford General Hospital, said: "We had a really positive response and was busy all morning "One of the consultants at the hospital brought a whole cake to share with his team, which was very nice.
"All our cakes had run out by 10:30am that morning."
