A concert by an RAF brass band will be held in Kings Langley next month to raise money for the Royal British Legion’s poppy appeal.
Residents are invited to come along and enjoy the performance by the RAF Halton, a voluntary concert band who will put on a show to mark Remembrance Day.
There will also be an evening raffle offering prizes of a C42 microlight flight and a flight on a small propeller aircraft.
Julie Barton, Kings Langley poppy appeal organiser, said: "Listening to people who have been helped by the British Legion, and ways that other areas had raised money, really pulled on the heart strings.
"I feel positive about fundraising and want to raise as much as I can for the poppy appeal in Kings Langley.
"I have organised this concert for residents of Kings Langley to come and listen to one of the best bands in the country."
Doors will open at 7pm and the concert will begin at 8pm on Friday, November, 2 in the Kings Langley Community Centre, The Nap.
Tickets are now on sale at £10. All proceeds will go to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.
