8:00am Thursday 11th October 2012 in News By Amie Mulderrig, Features Writer
Harvest festivities will continue in Bushey on Sunday, as St Peter’s Church hosts its own celebrations.
Visitors are invited to bring along tinned goods and toiletries to the church in Bushey Heath High Road, which will be passed on to Watford New Hope Trust.
A series of services to celebrate the Harvest Festival will be held throughout the morning, beginning at 8am, 9.30am and 11.15am.
Lunch will be served at about 12.30pm, costing £7.50 for adults, £5 for children aged from six to 12, and free those aged five and under.
Father Andrew Burton said: "I believe we’ve supported Watford New Hope Trust since its inception, long before I came here.
"It’s a worthy cause to support and a wonderful example of one of the practical outworkings of our faith at St Peter’s."
To book a place at the lunch, call Father Andrew Burton on 020 8950 1424.
