Arsenal and England striker Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain celebrated scoring his first national goal with a trip to the cinema in Watford.

The 19-year-old winger visited the Vue cinema in the Woodside Leisure Centre on Saturday night, watching hostage-drama sequel "Taken 2".

The footballer took time to pose for a pic with young members of the Watford Harriers who were also watching the film.

On Friday night Oxlade-Chamberlain and his ten England team-mates thrashed San Marino 5-0 at Wembley, during a world cup qualifier.

One of those five goals came in the 77th minute for Mr Chamberlain, the first he has scored for the national team.

I could have sworn I saw David Cameron feeding the ducks in the pond near the Town Hall. And my wife reckons she saw Kate Middleton buying lingerie in Dorothy Perkins. Unfortunately, neither of us had a camera at the time.

It's not even a very good photo, is it? Far too dark. Don't they have Adobe Photoshop in the WO offices? Just out of interest I copied the photo and put it through the mill. Even though I only have Photoshop Elements, the cut-down version, I was able to enhance it considerably and make it look much lighter, so at least you could recognise the faces.
