Tributes have flooded in for a 17-year-old girl who died suddenly last weekend.
Kerry Reid, a former Bushey Hall School student, died at Watford General on Sunday morning, after her mother, Sue, had earlier woken to her pleas for help.
An ambulance rushed Kerry to hospital at 8am where she was admitted in a critical condition. However, her condition then deteriorated and doctors battled for almost an hour to keep Kerry alive, but she sadly died at around 10am.
Kerry's mum, Sue Sweeney, of Colne Avenue, Watford, said: "It felt like a scene out of Casualty.
"I just kept thinking, this can't be happening to me."
Kerry was known to her friends and family as a kind, friendly person and spent a lot of her time on chat rooms on the internet.
She had friends across England and Ireland.
A post mortem has been carried out, but the results proved inconclusive.
Kerry will be cremated next Thursday at West Herts Crematorium, in Garston.
