Comserve Ltd of in Kings Langley has completed the restoration of the Tyburn Fountains at Marble Arch.

Under instruction from West One Infrastructure and FM Conway’s, Comserve carried out the mechanical aspect of the work to restore the fountains, which have been out of use for more than a decade.

Stuart Wells, Project Consultant said: “To be involved in such a prestigious project was an honour and a pleasure.

“To revitalise a part of London that had almost become forgotten is something to be proud of and I recommend people take time out to enjoy.”

The Fountain restoration was part of a £2.1m regeneration project for the City of Westminster and includes the re-lighting of the 181 year-old arch and the positioning of a 27ft bronze sculptor on the lawn nearby as part of a rolling art project.

Comserve was established as an independent company in 1984 by the current joint managing directors, Ian Wheeler and Chris Balderson.

The goal then, as it remains today, was to ensure “customers enjoy outstanding levels of service and value”.

The company was founded around the installation and maintenance of commercial air conditioning equipment and this remains a core activity today.

Comserve was voted in the top 100 companies by The Independent on Sunday and Price Waterhouse and currently provides maintenance services for some of the most prestigious companies in the country.

The company recently moved into purpose built headquarters in Kingley Park, Station Road, Kings Langley.
