A firm of independent financial advisers from Bricket Wood has come first in a customer service survey run by the financial services trade publication “Financial Adviser”.

Jigsaw Independent Financial Advice Ltd was awarded a very high score, beating direct competitors and a national product provider to scoop the award.

Director John Ovens said: “We were delighted with the result, which followed a ‘blind shopping’ exercise by the newspaper.

“The fact that all three Independent Financial Advisers scored well above the national provider (an insurance company) included in the same survey demonstrates just how valuable to consumers is the service provided by the independent sector.

“We work hard to ensure that we give our existing clients the very highest level of personal service.

“It is pleasing to find that this attention to detail and client focus has also been recognised in a survey that looks at how new enquiries are treated.”

The survey looked at a number of key areas including professional qualifications, the standard of advice given and technical knowledge, as well as speed of response and telephone manner.

Mr Ovens added: “We have complete confidence in our ability to provide clients with sound advice and a professional, friendly service. However, it is always nice to receive an independent endorsement.”

Founded in 2003, Jigsaw provides a wide range of personal financial planning advice from retirement and investment planning to protection – life and critical illness and income protection as well.
