'Safe crackers' enjoy Renault Watford’s 20th anniversary

Attempts were made to break into Renault Watford’s safe at the weekend, as part of a competition to win a brand new Renault Clio.

To mark 20 years of the brand in the town, the dealership held a special customer event at its newly-refurbished dealership on Greenhill Crescent, Watford Business Park on Saturday.

Customers and guests were invited to see the changes made to the showroom and try their hand at safe cracking. All they had to do was enter a six-digit code into a safe with one winning combination unlocking the doors to the prize Renault Clio.

No one managed to guess the code but Renault Watford general Manager Mark Concannon said that the event had been a huge success.

He said: “I’m sure our customers will agree that the new-look site is fantastic, with plenty more space to showcase new and used cars, better customer parking and a new Renault Minute site offering a no-appointment, all-makes fast fit service.

“We’d like to thank everyone who came down at the weekend to see us and look forward to inviting new and existing customers to visit the new site.”
