Jobcentre plus tells Hertfordshire employers : ‘Be a winner with us’

Employers in Hertfordshire are being invited to enter a new regional awards scheme designed to showcase the achievements of companies, partnerships and individuals who have worked with Jobcentre Plus over the past year.

In difficult times, it’s more important than ever to celebrate the successes of businesses in Hertfordshire and we will be inviting nominations from companies of all sizes.

The Jobcentre Plus Awards 2010 will recognise employers who have helped change people’s lives and made a vital contribution to the local community through a successful working relationship with Jobcentre Plus.

Winners will be honoured in five categories at a regional awards ceremony on July 20 at Ickworth House near Bury St Edmunds

Awards will be made for Recruitment Partnership, Youth Employment, Diversity in Action, Skills Development and New Recruit of the Year.

There will also be an overall Employer of the Year 2010 chosen from all the successful entries.

The awards are open to all employers, large and small, and they can get more information and nominate themselves online until 28 March at Business Link
