Watford businesswoman Cherrill Sheer was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award at Mixology 2010.

Cherrill was born into the design industry, and following her studies at the Architectural Association and Kingston School of Architecture, she joined Hille International becoming the Director in charge of Marketing and PR and was involved in Product Development.

She still serves the design industry with energy and distinction today and runs Cherrill Scheer & Associates of Hille House in St Albans Road, Watford.

A member of the family that led contemporary furniture design in this country in the 60s and 70s, the Mixology Lifetime Achievement award winner has been an influential personality in the industry for many years.

Good design and education have always played a major part in Cherrill’s working ethics and being self employed has enabled her to accept responsibilities to advance these interests.

She’s still as energetic as ever with her work with the architectural and interior design community, as well as running her successful consultancy.

The mix interiors awards are unique, judged as they are by an independent panel of leading architects, specifiers and consultants, and concentrating on the office interiors market.
