Wenta announces three new appointments to the board

Leading enterprise agency Wenta has announced three new additions to its Board of Directors.

Wenta as the Enterprise Agency for Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire is the second largest agency in the region and plays a significant role in supporting the local economy.

In addition to their advisory, education and business centres services in recent months the Wenta group have introduced two business incubation centres at Stevenage and Luton under the brand ‘My Incubator’.

The new centres are designed to help entrepreneurs and create successful businesses and are providing a much needed source of support to start-ups across the counties.

To strengthen and support the Agency with the addition of these new services to Wenta’s portfolio accomplished professionals from local business community; Richard Philips, Steve McAteer and Julie Gingell have been appointed to the Wenta Board as non Executive Directors. Each of them brings a wealth of specialist knowledge and experience to the organisation.

Julie is a Partner and the Director of Marketing and Business Development at St Albans based law firm SA Law. A Chartered Marketer, she has particular expertise in brand development and online communications.

Steve McAteer is the Director of Partnerships and Marketing at Business Link East. He has business and marketing qualifications, considerable business experience and currently develops and delivers strategies to engage with over 100,000 businesses a year.

Richard Philips heads Watford based law firm Matthew Arnold & Baldwin's corporate team and specialises in corporate law. He has been working there since 1990 and became a Partner in the mid 90’s. The majority of his work is in mergers & acquisitions and corporate finance, but he also advises on corporate governance.
