Although I’m sure they’ll be plenty of students young and mature celebrating wonderful exam results this week, I’m guessing they’ll be quite a few sucking air at clapping eyes on the poor results staring back at them? And while the immediate reaction might be that it  feels like the end of the world, truth is  it really doesn’t matter, yes you heard right, in fact I’ll say it again, it does not matter…….

Life rarely works out how you plan it, that’s just life & sometimes no matter how hard you work or how hard you aim for a particular profession or result, human tools/abilities & fate may say otherwise, and that’s the same for all ages,  trust me, as someone who has come up against more hurdles than Sally Gunnell & Colin Jackson combined I can honestly say that  I probably spend the majority of my life flat on my face from falling, but I have no regrets. Circumstance means that not everyone gets a stab at what they want to do, so if you get the opportunity and give it all you’ve  got and it doesn’t work out, then by all means sulk for a day or two , you’ve earnt it, but then dust yourself down & start thinking a little wider outside the box.

                              Watford Observer:

Life is too short to keep beating yourself up and it doesn’t change the outcome, it only wastes precious time,  So keep getting back up and just approach things differently again and again and again.  Whatever the result, You only fail in Life when you stop trying.

In M.E news, someone else sucking air due to a burning mouth no doubt?  is Big Brothers 2006 winner Pete Bennett who some of you may remember helped raise awareness of Tourettes syndrome? Well his back & very kindly helping to raise awareness of M.E by taking on the Chilli ME Challenge https://chillimechallenge.wordpress.com  & eating two scotch Bonnets also known as ball of fire. Nice one Pete, &  big thanks from the M.E community. Please note there is swearing so if you’re sensitive, best not watch….although I’m sure you won’t be able to resist?

                          Watford Observer:

Staying on M.E news I’m now in my 25th year of being shackled to this illness, unfortunately no reward for years of service though. However I felt I needed to do something, and seeing as so many of  the M.E community  seemed to enjoy the poem “One Stupid Dot”

                Watford Observer:

I thought I’d  make some  limited edition Merchandise out of it, some of you might’ve spotted me wearing one towards the end of  my own Chilli ME Challenge video? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W17qhg1awPQ

                  Watford Observer:

Well the gadget/gizmo/gift feature seems to be going down well, Many of you have been in touch to say you’re loving the picks and have been purchasing them for family and friends. I should just point out, I’m not affiliated to any of them and I don’t get paid, I simply browse the web until something tickles my fancy and I hope it tickles yours too? So, This weeks gizmo had me smiling from ear to ear purely for its Brit style quirkiness, a snip at £9.95 in a sale this is the light headed bowler hat, runs off 3xAAA batteries, so next time you have a lightbulb moment you can share it with everyone…literally. Available from : http://www.prezzybox.com/light-headed-bowler-hat.aspx but they’ve only got a few left so you’ll need to be quick.             Watford Observer:

Onto local news, and there’s nothing worse than taking your car to a garage for a service only to have the mechanic sucking air while shaking his head and rubbing his chin….aha men can multitask after all?  Translated it all means you’re about to get ripped off. As a pensioner and lone female my mother dreads having to deal with this kinda thing…up to now that is. She recently went to Cousins Garage to arrange a service and an MOT, they came and picked the car up from the house, punctual and friendly, and having previously been told by another garage there were lots of things that needed doing on it, she was expecting a hefty bill, but the guys from Cousins returned the car assuring her she didn’t need the work doing, so their honesty also gets a big thumbs up and they are now her go to garage. Good business always deserves a shout out so if you’re in need of a gooden then I recommend you check out these guys, they can be found at   Unit 9, Mowat Industrial Estate, Sandown Rd, Watford WD24 7UY  01923 222817

Well til next week, stay blessed
