The M40 was still not snow-ploughed six hours after the snow ceased falling
Posted on 1:30pm Thursday 20th January 2011
IT had been over four hours since we had set off from Sarratt on the Saturday morning before Christmas, but, after more than a three-hour delay on the M40, we were finally moving again. This, along with the weight of traffic dammed up by the accidents, meant the surface was better and progress was good.
