Racial headbutt of Tesco security guard denied

THREE RIVERS: A 42-year-old man has denied racially abusing an Asian security guard and attacking him with a headbutt.

Sean Murphy, of Buttlehide, Maple Cross is alleged to have assaulted Wahib Butt, a security guard at Tesco in Rickmansworth, on Tuesday, February 26.

At St Albans Crown Court on Monday Murphy pleaded not guilty to racially aggravated assault.

Judge Stephen Warner adjourned the case for a trial at the same court for week commencing Monday, August 17.
