Builders have commenced work to bulldoze and rebuild a petrol station in Watford.
Workmen have begun pulling down the Shell petrol station, at the bottom of Rickmansworth Road.
The petrol station will then be rebuilt, with a new, enlarged forecourt, sales building, canopy and two new, 70,000 litre steel, underground storage tanks.
Plans to rebuild the existing filling station were received by Watford Borough Council last summer, however, they were only approved once revised plans were resubmitted.
