Move over Emma Bunton, Watford has its own spice girl, two-year-old Daisy Woodger.

Little Daisy Woodger of Parkgate Road in North Watford, has been included in the line-up of tiny finalists in a nationwide ‘Celebritots’ contest, hosted by television channel BabyTV.

Daisy fought off stiff competition from hundreds of entries to be named in the top ten of the competition, which sought out babies and toddlers with a remarkable resemblance to the rich and famous.

Her cute outfits, bright blonde hair and love of pouting have marked her out as Watford’s very own baby Bunton.

Daisy’s mother Paula, 36, said: “We were shocked yet thrilled to be picked as one of Baby TV’s finalists. We entered on the off chance after hearing the competition on the radio, and are really pleased that the judges see the resemblance too.

“Over the years people have said that I look like Emma Bunton. We sent in a picture of Daisy on her birthday dressed in pink and wearing a tiara.

“Daisy is our own little princess, and is just as cute as Baby Spice.”

Daisy will now be competing against the likes of Amy Winehouse, Susan Boyle and Suri Cruise to claim the title.

The winner due to be announced next month will receive £500 and the chance to be featured on the channel.
