Police are investigating after the theft of a young woman's mobile phone and passport in Watford town centre.
The 19-year-old woman was allegedly targeted at about midnight on Saturday, October 17, in an alleyway between the Area nightclub and the Gade car park.
Officers say the woman, from London, met a man outside the club and walked with him towards the alley, where she then collapsed.
When she recovered her composure she discovered her phone and passport were missing and reported the apparent theft.
A 33-year-old man from London has been arrested on suspicion of theft and bailed until November 9.
PC Jennifer Vince appealed for further information. She said said: “I am appealing for anyone who might have seen either the alleged incident itself, or before or after it, to come forward and contact me.”
