Work experience students from West Herts College helped to transform a party room at Sir James Altham Pool in South Oxhey last week.
The students completed two large murals in a room which is used most weekends to host birthday parties for children aged between three and nine years.
Sara Bennett, manager of the centre on Little Oxhey Lane, said: “The room feels lighter and brighter and we have received many positive comments, so we would all like to say a big thank you.”
The students Lisa Buckridge, Sami Pater and Jane Broughton are second year foundation degree students, currently studying Illustration at the Hempstead Road site.
The Sir James Altham Pool is a community pool with specialised facilities for people with disabilities.
