Former Watford man Daniel Gibb killed in motorcycle crash

A motorcyclist formerly from Watford died when his bike collided with a minibus near his home in Bedfordshire.

Daniel Gibb, 25, was killed when his Honda CBR 600 crashed with a green minibus along the A507 in Clifton, Beds, at about 5.15am on Friday, March 5.

An inquest, which was opened and adjourned on the same day as the incident, found he suffered cerebral contusions and a fracture of the base of the skull.

Mr Gibb, a serving officer with the Metropolitan Police, was a former pupil St Catherine of Siena School and St Michael's Catholic High School, both in Garston.

His parents still live in the area.

Mr Gibb's funeral will take place at West Herts Crematorium tomorrow (Friday).
