M25 public exhibition starts


A public exhibition regarding the widening of the M25 is being held from today.

The exhibition, which will consider enlarging the motorway between junctions 18, Rickmansworth, and 21A, Watford, is being held at Hunton Park, Essex Lane from today between 2pm and 9pm and tomorrow, Saturday March 13, from 10am to 5pm.

Officers from the Highways Agency will be available at the exhibition to discuss all issues related to the project.

Short notice! Why didn't someone from the highways agency contact the WO and give at least two weeks notice!

What should have been suggested is a slip road that takes traffic on to the M1 from the A414 (Old M10) towards Hemel. That would divert alot of the traffic from the Chiswell Green (A405) area. When they did the M1 Widening Scheme.

As long as the M25 widening people sorts out the M25/M1 to the 4 lanes, as that is very congested with the 2 lanes.
