Charity book sale in Rickmansworth

A charity shop in Rickmansworth is holding a special sale of collectable books.

Sue Ryder Care will hold the event from March 5 to 10, to raise extra money for the charity, and is looking for donations.

David Harper, from the shop, in the High Street, said: “We will have a wide range of books from a wide range of years including old annuals, Victorian books and more.

“We have held previous collectable book weeks last year which have proved very popular with our customers.”

A similar event in November raised more than £1,000 in just one week.
