A footballer who died after collapsing during a five-a-side match in Bushey has been named as Malcolm Evans.
Mr Evans, believed to be in his early forties, suffered heart failure during a match at Powerleague in Queens’ School on Monday, February 6.
Paramedics rushed Mr Evans to hospital after being called to the pitches at 7.50pm but he later died.
The coroner for Hertfordshire confirmed no inquest would be held and that the death had been due to natural causes.
