A Kings Langley company is in the running for a prestigious award, for its provision of student and graduate internships.
Digital Agency Clock Limited, based in Hunton Bridge, has been shortlisted for the National Council for Work Experience (NCWE) Award.
The prize recognises businesses from all sectors and sizes that provide exceptional student and graduate internships.
In their ninth year, 2012 has proven a record year for entries, with a 50 per cent increase on 2011 at more than 300 applicants. Clock Ltd will compete against five other businesses for the Best SME title.
The winners will be announced on Tuesday, March 20 at Merchant Taylors’ Hall in London by Dr Paul Redmond, one of the UK’s leading experts on graduate employability, from The University of Liverpool.
Sam Fresco, company representative, said: "We're thrilled to be short listed for an NCWE award as it recognises the hard work that goes into the placement programme we offer.
“In a fast-paced industry it is vital to develop passionate, fresh talent and we're consistently impressed by the ideas, zeal and initiative demonstrated by our placement students."
The judging panel represents the full internship process through a number of senior professionals, including specialists from Which? and Regent’s College.
