A man wanted for questioning over an attack with a samurai sword could be in the Watford or Oxhey area, police believe.
Damien Foley, 41, is wanted for questioning in relation to a serious assault which took place in Wembley earlier this year.
Police have made extensive enquiries to trace him but are now seeking help from the public.
The violent assault took place on January 4. A 43-year-old man was followed by another man driving a white Ford Transit van to Beresford Avenue.
The Ford Transit van driver then got out and approached the victim's van, smashed the window and began asasulting him with a Samurai sword.
The victim was stabbed multiple times in his right leg and sustained serious injuries.
When his attacker made off in his van, the victim managed to get to a shop nearby where he called for help before collapsing.
DC Steve Machin, Brent CID said: "We are appealing for anyone who knows Mr Foley or knows where he maybe, to contact Brent CID on 020 8733 3159 or alternatively can remain anonymous by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
