A BUS driver was punched in the face by a road rage offender in Radlett who followed the bus in his car and waited for it to stop before carrying out a vicious assault.
The man chased the 602 along Watling Street in a red Rover hatchback on Sunday last week, pulled up in front of it at a bus stop, got out of his car and boarded the bus.
The driver suffered a black eye in the attack, witnessed by three passengers and passing motorists at around 5.15pm.
The attacker then made off in his car towards Borehamwood.
Police are investigating the incident but no one has been arrested.
