CHRISTMAS shoppers at The Harlequin shopping centre, Watford, can have their presents gift-wrapped by local Christians, specially trained in the art.
Members of churches across the town have been running the free service at the shopping centre from last week as part of a series of events aimed at reminding local people of the real meaning of Christmas.
They will be wrapping gifts today (Friday) from 5.30pm to 9pm and tomorrow (Saturday) from 2pm to 7pm.
Christian musicians will perform a Christmas concert on Sunday afternoon from noon until 3pm and there will be a Carol Service at St Mary's Church in the town centre on Tuesday, December 23, from 6pm to 7pm.
