Car fire on M25

Firefighters were called to the M25 this morning, to extinguish a Land Rover Freelander that was engulfed in flames.

Crews from Garston and Rickmansworth responded to the call at 6.17am, and travelled to the incident between Junction 20 and 19 on the eastbound carriageway.
On arrival they found the engine compartment completely gutted and recorded the fire as accidental.
