Rush hour crash halts town

Commuters are being warned to avoid the centre of Watford this evening following a possible hit-and-run crash close to the town hall roundabout.
The incident happened at around 4.30pm when a car collided with a motorcyclist.
It is believed the car driver then drove off.
The motorcyclist is believed to be conscience and is being treated by paramedics.
Police have now closed the junction between the roundabout and Rickmansworth Road and are now diverting cars underneath the underpass.
Reports suggest traffic in the town centre is already heavy as commuters head home for the weekend.
