Worldwide training for Watford man lining up for London Marathon
3:40pm Friday 8th April 2011 in News By Bruce Thain
A north Watford resident will be running the London Marathon to raise money for a local homelessness charity.
Dami Siyanbola, a 26-year-old business analyst, will run for Watford New Hope Trust (WNHT), which he used to work for.
WNHT helps serve homeless and vulnerable people in Watford by providing accommodation and support.
Dami said: "I’m sure that as I run the 26 miles and 385 yard race, memories of my time at WNHT will keep me going."
However, as his work takes him all over the world, Dami had to train on the move.
He said: "I’ve trained in three continents and five different countries as well as in my home town of Watford."
