Mrs Pauline Sherrington, of Harrow, wrote in to ask if any readers recall going to The Coachmakers (location not specified) and Watford Town Hall to hear Tommy Hunt and his band during World War Two.
She writes: "We had great fun with the Americans from Bovingdon and most of my friends were GI brides. My friend was called Joan. Ethel and Ada were behind the bar in The Coachmakers. You would never forget those days if you were there."
