"There was a very good article in the Watford Observer on October 14, 2005, about St Mary's, but I wonder how many have seen Mrs Smith's houses in Watford Fields, or Mr Gosling's Homes for Aged Women in Merton Road? There are, of course, the Salter's properties in Church Road. Bob Nunn also refered to two others, one in Vicarage Road and the other in Rickmansworth Road, but these no longer exist.
"Do any readers know if the original requirements still apply at any of these homes? We know that those for St Mary's have been changed. Are there any other homes'? The title may not be obvious and may be called a hospital or college or some other name."
