A man from Watford was killed yesterday after his car crashed into the central reservation on the M1.
The incident happened at around 5pm when the man's car, a silver Volkswagen T-Sporter van, left the carriageway and collided with the central reservation.
The crash happened on the southbound carriageway, close to the Watford turn-off at junction 5.

A 38-year-old man from Watford was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have not named the man.
The incident was reported to police at 5.10pm, however it is unclear how long the vehicle may have been there for.
Inspector Paul Campbell is the investigating officer and said: "I am appealing to anyone who may have seen the collision take place, or has any information to please come forward and help us with our investigation."
