Man injured in Ring Road accident

Reports are coming in that a man has been seriously injured after being involved in an accident on the Ring Road in Watford just before 6pm today.

The accident occurred near the junction with Loates Lane.

It is not yet known how seriously injured the man is but traffic in the area is building up as emergency services attend the scene.

I hope this man will be ok but - and I don't want to sound like the voice of doom but...isn't it a really bad idea to build residential homes like the flats on the edge of the ring road by Loates Lane, so near to a major traffic flow? But that seems to be the way that Watford town centre is heading.
