Four Watford friends have been called on missions for The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to different parts of the world. Sam Stanbury (18), a previous pupil of Aldenham school, will spend the next two years in Sao Paula, Brazil while his friend, Antony Keen (24), who attended Misbourne School in Great Missenden, will be in Barcelona, Spain. From the same Church, Sara Martins (19) from Queens School will be flying to Tokyo, Japan and Stephanie Siu, past pupil of Watford Girls Grammar School, will wing her way to Hong Kong. Both girls will serve for 18 months. All will be learning a new language and will spend their time talking to people about their faith and taking part in humanitarian projects. The four friends will be funding their missions themselves. Currently serving from Watford are Amelia Stanbury in Sydney, Australia and Maia Peacock from Hemel Hempstead in Switzerland. Both are due back in the New Year.
