Northchurch based Montague Pianos has beaten over 200 nationwide retailers to scoop the Take it away Retailer of the Year Award at this years MiA Music Awards.
The annual MIA Music ceremony are a major celebration for the whole musical instrument industry.
Take it away is an Arts Council initiative making owning a musical instrument accessible for children and young people. A supporter of the scheme, Montague Pianos was nominated for delivering outstanding customer service and for going ‘above and beyond the ordinary in supporting music making in the community’.
Lee Chapman, Director of Montague Pianos, says ‘We are thrilled to have won! We want to thank all of the customers who have nominated us.We believe that every child should have the opportunity to play music, and the Take it away scheme helps to make this a reality - so this award is really special for us.”
This years MIA Music Awards Ceremony took place at London’s Park Plaza Riverbank on Tuesday 18th November.
