For the second year running Nicola Beels and Lizzie Roberts have run a November coffee morning for family and friends to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. They didn't think that they would be able to top last years total of almost £700 but they smashed it and actually raised a staggering £1187. They have requested that the money is used for supporting people with cancer and their families in the Hertfordshire area. The event presented an opportunity for friends and family to show off their baking skills and also to get together with friends old and new. They hope to run the event again next year and aim to raise even more.
