An Abbots Langley pub could be open later if the district council grants permission to extend its licence.
The Royal Oak in Kitters Green has applied to Three Rivers District Council for an extension to sell alcohol during the week.
At present the pub is allowed to serve from 10am to 11pm Monday to Thursday. If the application is granted the pub will be able to supply alcohol until midnight.
It has also requested to play music for an extra hour throughout the week and on Saturdays and to use the beer garden for longer.
Residents have until April 14 to make their objections. For more information visit the council’s website at www.threerivers.gov.uk.
