Church ready for garden fete

Supporters of the village’s St Lawrence Church will host a garden fete on Saturday afternoon.
The event, from 2pm to 4.30pm, will feature a traditional array of outdoor games, entertainment, and refreshments.
All monies raised will go to the Ascend Church Centre in South Oxhey, and the Abbots Langley Community Centre.
Co-organiser Roy Bratt said: “Whenever the weather holds out these type of events still prove really popular.”
