After a very successful season last year where our men’s team reached the semi-finals at Worthing this season has started well.
Our first men’s match, a friendly against North Watford BC was lost but our next, a mixed team beat Owls BC convincingly. The internal men’s versus ladies match was a win for the men.
Our next two matches were Watford and District veterans league with Reds losing to Bushey Reds whilst the Blues had a good win against Little Gaddesden BC.
The men’s National and County Team Championships have now begun with our first two matches both successful. A good win away to Berkhamsted BC in the National “Two Fours”, and a walkover against Much Hadham BC in the County “Club Team Ten”.
The ladies Watford and District League starts next week with the men’s league starting the following week.
We are looking forward to another good year.
