Ladies start with two wins

This week the Ladies have started their Watford & District league with two wins; Abbots Langley BC on Tuesday and Borehamwood BC on Friday.

In the men’s National Club Two Fours a win against Watford C gives them a next round game against either Welwyn & District BC ‘A’ or Harpenden BC ‘A’, and in the national Top Club a 3 - 2 win against Croxley Guild BC has a next round match against either Potten End BC ‘A’ or Berkhampstead BC ‘A’.

The Watford & District Veterans League for the men had wins for both the Reds and the Blues.

A five rink mixed friendly against Radlett BC on Saturday resulted in a loss for Garston, even though we were 19 up at the tea break. On Sunday we had a comfortable win over Kitcheners BC.

Next week the men start their Watford& District league with a match against Herts BC
