Garston Bowls Club reach County Semi Finals

Garston men reach the Semi Finals of the County Championships.

Garston is well represented in the Hertfordshire County Semi Final this week at Ware Bowls Club.

• On Monday 13th the ‘fours’ John Hay, Jon Head, Martin Coles and Mark Yelland play against a team from Oak Hill.

• On Tuesday 14th the ‘triples’ Jon Head, Dave Martin and Martin Coles play Royston.

• On Wednesday 15th there are two ‘pairs’, both playing against each other. Glen Wilson and Mark Yelland play Jon Head and Martin Coles, and • On Thursday 16th in the singles Jerry Rumball plays A. Briden from Townsend and Martin Coles plays D. Macro also from Townsend.

The winners of all these games play in the Finals at Baldock Bowls Club on 26th July and also in the National Championships in Worthing. Good Luck to them all.
