Volunteers needed to stand for Sarratt Parish Council
2:29pm Monday 6th April 2009 in News
A new volunteer is required to stand for election to Sarratt Parish Council after a councillor was forced to stand down.
Councillor Sean Feast, who served for almost four years, said family commitments and a new business venture meant he no longer had time to serve his constituents.
If no volunteers for election are forthcoming the vacant seat will be filled by co-option – with the existing councillors simply choosing a replacement.
Anybody interested in standing in June’s elections should make a request in writing to the Returning Officer at Three Rivers House, Northway, Rickmansworth, WD3 1RL by April 16.
They must be supported by 10 local electors.
