SARRATT: More than 1,000 visitors young and old sampled the sights and sounds of the annual Holy Cross Church Flower Festival over a sun-soaked weekend.

A new volunteer is required to stand for election to Sarratt Parish Council after a councillor was forced to stand down. Councillor Sean Feast, who served for almost four years, said family commitments and a new business venture meant he no longer had time to serve his constituents.
