A foal in a million
Horse breeding has been in the family of Mr Peter Smith, of Hillrise, North Orbital Road, Garston, for 100 years, but, says Mr Smith: “I have never seen anything like this.”
By “this” he meant Warpaint – an oddly spotted foal, photographed here with mare Tina, aged ten.
But Warpaint has another claim to fame quite apart from those strange markings – a brother is ridden by actor Robert Horton in the television western Shenandoah.
